Enjoy creating the incredible beauty of the St. Andrew's Church LEGO set, an Orthodox church in Kyiv dating back to 1747-1754, and built to a design by the Italian architect Bartolomeo Rastrelli. The greens & blues of this colorful model are true to the original architecture and will catch anyone's eye!

The church is a rare example of Elizabethan Baroque in Ukraine and consists of a single dome with four small decorative spires. From the outside facade, columns decorate the church accompanied by additional decorations. The Mariinsky Palace is another LEGO set based on Rastrelli's designs.

According to the annals "The Tale of Timely Years", the Apostle Andrew (the first preacher of Christianity in the lands of Kyivan Rus) foretold of the emergence of a great city at the location where the church stands today. The site he foretold arose to become the city of Kyiv.

St. Andrew's Church is currently being considered for the inclusion in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Own this piece of history & faith in this historic land.

Materials

We use only authentic LEGO bricks & parts for all our sets. Most bricks are new, but some may be responsibly sourced and gently used. Any used bricks have been professionally inspected and cleaned by our suppliers.
